Vancouver, British Columbia, October 16, 2018 – Q Investments Ltd. (the “Company”) is pleased to announce the appointment of Joel Dumaresq to its board of directors.

Mr. Dumaresq has over 30 years experience in the capital markets. He began his career in 1986 with RBC Dominion Securities in the investment banking and advisory business. In 1998, Mr. Dumaresq left RBC to take on the role of President of an independent British Columbia-based forest products company Greenwater Forest Products. Following the sale of Greenwater in 2004, Mr. Dumaresq formed Matrix Partners Inc., a private equity family office which has owned interests in a range of businesses including Paramount Pallet (later sold to CHEP) and Modu-loc Fencing.

Mr. Dumaresq has been an active investor and board member with a range of private and publicly-traded companies in the industrial, resource, bio-medical, and now cannabis spaces. He is highly-experienced in corporate governance, restructuring, creative finance and mergers and acquisitions.
